New race and axle strap

Great product, fantastic customer service and nicely packaged.

Better feel of pedals

Thinner and lighter weight than my old stinky socks -- with the sock I have more feel thru the boot sole to the pedals --

Wonderful

Light weight, very comfortable, position of seams in just the right place -- compared to the older heavier models from XYZ company, it's like a new set of soft tires -- I've been using Traqgear under garments since "when", my body loves it -- cheers Vic //

Balaclavas

Haven't tried them on yet as no track days since I got them, but the service was very quick and the quality looks good.

Great service. Recommend...

Great looking shirt

I am 6'2, 165-lbs and a medium fits well - snug, especially in the arms, but not too tight. The shirt is light grey, not white (looked white on the website) - I think the grey looks better than white in person. Sleeves could be an inch longer, but could just be me. Overall, I am very pleased and cannot wait to get back on track and give it a try.

No brainer under my suit

I have used the shirt for 3-4 weekends now and have been very happy with it. It is perfect on test days when I am not wearing a coolshirt during short sessions but need more protection than a T-shirt which was my choice before this. It has been comfortable, cool and fits well and in combination with the fire protection it has been a no brainer to wear on a regular basis under my suit.

Incredibly light

The TraqGear shirt is incredibly light and comfortable on the skin, and the added benefit of being fire resistant is a huge plus for all racers.

Hands down the best

In a sport where every single degree of core body temp can and does effect your performance, staying cool is as important as tires, horsepower and handling. The Traqgear shirt is hands down the best fire retardant shirt I’ve yet to find in my 20+ yrs of racing. It wicks, it breaths, it keeps you cooler – Hats off to them.

So much cooler

Anyone that has not heard about the new TraqGear safety clothing is missing out. TraqGear is about change the racing industry in design and safety. I am wearing a TraqGear shirt which is keeps you so much cooler in the car and much more fashionable out. I can not wait for the complete set of clothing.

The best available

To all of you who have not tried the great new shirts for under your suit from TraqGear, you have no idea what you are missing. They are light, fireproof and wicking like many of the new athletic shirts from Nike and Under Armour, just won’t melt to your skin in the case of fire. Protect yourself and run the best safety equipment available! I won’t get in a car unless I have my TraqGear shirt.

In Love!

I am absolutely in love with the shirt. I truly cannot believe the difference. I was telling everyone at Barber about it and making them feel how thin it was. If I had brought a stack of them I think I could have sold them all. It’s so light I think a lot of people just wouldn’t believe it is actually fire retardant. I’ll never wear anything else under my suit. I never thought I would consider wearing a long sleeve but I want to try that as well and brag to everyone about it too. Thanks so much!!!

Dry and cool

These new shirts from Traqgear are amazing. Even on a hot day, I feel dry and cool in the car. I can’t imagine ever going back to plain nomex.

Cool & Comfy

The shirt was really comfortable and a lot cooler than the sparco stuff.

Impressive

I wore a TraqGear Race shirt at the CMP race last October. I’ve tried a lot of different shirts, but the TraqGear was impressively cool…it felt like a conventional wicking shirt…but flameproof. Very impressed and will be buying another soon.

Comfortable, light and cool

I love wearing my Traqgear shirts under my firesuit in every race. On top of them being very comfortable, light, and keeping me cool, I know that I am safe in case of a fire in my racecar. Thank you Traqgear for all the support!

Terrific!

My Freedom Autosport Mazda MX-5 is hot inside, like all race cars. I tried the TraqGear undershirt after seeing it on my teammate Mat Pombo. It is terrific, adding another layer of fire protection, while keeping far less body heat in.

Finally!

I will admit I didn't think changing to a different balaclava would make much of a difference. I slid my helmet on over the single layer version and knew immediately I would never go back.

I used to not wear a balaclava because they were hot and made my helmet fit tighter. The single layer is almost like having no balaclava at all. It doesn't pull against your face when you put your helmet on. The helmet slides right on. There are no seams around the face and I don't feel any pressure points anywhere on it.

On the track the difference is significant. It was nearly 100 degrees outside and my head was much cooler which lead to a noticeably cooler body temperature.

We all want an advantage as racers. Being overheated hurts our reaction time and can be dangerous if we get too hot.

As someone that was skeptical that this product was really necessary, I can tell you first hand that it's such a difference that I would say it's close to a toss up as to which I would pick, the balaclava or the shirt if I had to pick one.

I have not tried the double layer yet. I can't imagine liking any balaclava more than the Traqgear Racing Innovations single layer but I'll try it soon and post my feedback.

NO bunching

Before my purchase from Traqgear I was using an Alpinestars balaclava. I can't really say I was unhappy but I accepted the level of comfort it afforded. I have the bad combination of a Stilo helmet and a large head so the seam running from the back to the front of my forehead always left a mark when I take my helmet off. If its leaving a mark that means pressure - which is something I can do without. Another thing about the Alipnestars I didn't like - it would bunch up around the neck.

The Traqgear balaclava (single face) was just the right thickness for me, had great elastic properties, and the extra fabric around the neck really helps to keep it tucked in. The lack of seams meant that there were no pressure points anywhere. The fabric on my previous balaclava seemed to be "rougher" where the Traqgear one has a smooth quality to it. Pulling it on you can sort of feel like Spiderman instead of feeling like you are pulling a burlap bag over your head.
